Perth Coastal Bike Ride Update: Event Village Expansion with Markets by the Bay & 10 km Ride Cancellation

We have two important updates to share about the 2025 Perth Coastal Bike Ride, happening on Sunday, 23 November 2025.

New Partnership with Markets by the Bay

The exciting news? The event just got even bigger!

The Perth Coastal Bike Ride has teamed up with the organisers of the Hillarys Christmas Market (Markets by the Bay) to create a full community celebration at Whitfords Nodes.

From 9:00 am, riders, families, and visitors can enjoy a lively Event Village featuring:

• Over 50 stalls and food trucks offering local food, drinks, crafts, and gifts.
• Live music and kids’ activities.
• A chance to meet The Ladybird Foundation, event partner charity.

​It’s set to be a fantastic day of cycling, community, and celebration — a perfect way to kick off the festive season while supporting women’s cancer research.

Event Details

Family 10 km Ride Closed

Unfortunately, the 10 km Community & Family Ride has been cancelled this year due to roadworks along the shared pathway between Hillarys and Mullaloo. These works, managed by the local council, won’t be completed in time for the event.

Participants who registered for the 10 km ride will receive a full refund, or can choose to transfer to the 40 km distance instead.
